The wind shield in its stowed carrying position lies in a recess in a back panel of an upper seat back section. The upper seat back section (8) accommodating the wind shield (11) in a folded transporting position is connected on both longitudinal sides of the vehicle to a cross member of the body by means of a corresponding four-member linkage. The four-member linkages each include two spaced apart links (15,16) connected on one side to the cross member of the body and on the other side to seat back section supporting the wind shield.
