PURPOSE: A vehicle audio system having an active noise canceler is provided to compensate the compensation or amplification of reproduced sound according to the noise generated in the vehicle for restraining the noise and automatically resolve the change of sound due to the noise. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle audio system having an active noise canceler includes a car stereo unit(11) mounted at a side of a vehicle, a microphone(12) mounted at a side of the car stereo unit for measuring sound reproduced by the car stereo, an active noise canceler(13) for compensating the sound according to the compensation and amplification of the reproduced sound and noise, and a plurality of speakers(21-23) connected to the car stereo unit for outputting the sound.
