<p>A power control apparatus includes a generator power conversion circuit (3) for converting power from a generator (2) into DC power and outputting it to a DC line (8), chopper circuits (5, 7) for converting power from a battery (4) and a capacitor (6) into DC power and outputting it to the DC line (8), a generator drive circuit (9) for driving a generator (10) according to power supplied via the DC line (8), and a power control circuit (23) for controlling the generator power conversion circuit (3) and the chopper circuits (5, 7), so that the voltage of the DC line (8) is maintained substantially constant independently of the power fluctuation required by a load (11). Thus, it is possible to supply power in just proportion according to power required by the load (11).</p> |
