<p>A picked up image of a rear view camera installed in a vehicle (1a) is viewpoint-converted into an image looked down from a virtual viewpoint. When this viewpoint-converted image is displayed on a screen, warning lines (51, 52) indicating the existence of a vehicle rear portion is also displayed as an overlapped image. Thus, when displaying a pickup image of the rear view camera viewpoint-converted on the screen, the image can warn a driver about the range of the vehicle together with a perceptual illusion given by the viewpoint-converted image.</p> |
