A gas-liquid mixing apparatus has a central tube (1) discharging gas into a surrounding twisting liquid flow delivered by an outer concentric tube (3). The outer tube extends beyond the inner tube and terminates in a conical (4) rim. Preferred Features: The conical rim surface is straight, concave or convex in axial cross-section. Alternatively, the outer pipe widens conically to terminate in a converging conical rim, which then discharges to a parallel tube of the same diameter at the first outer tube (3).
