Passenger seat has a carrier structure (1), a cushion (2) and a seat cover (3), provided at its edge region (3b) with a fixing rail (3a) for securing it to a counter-edge (4a) of a panel (4) covering the edge of the cover. The panel counter-edge lies on the side of the panel facing the cushion and extends transverse to the tension direction of the seat cover. The panel can be secured to the carrier structure via a separate fixing element (4b).
