The invention concerns a solid catalytic component comprising a metallocene whereof at least a first ligand includes a cyclopentadienyl group chemically bound by a methyl group to a support consisting of a porous inorganic compound. The invention also concerns a method for preparing such a solid catalytic component. The invention is applicable to olefin polymerisation and copolymerisation.
