The method of displacement of anode plates (8) on suspension beams over electrolytic surface finishing or plating tanks (9). The method involves feeding fresh anode plates into the area of the strips to be plated to be positioned on either side of the strips. The anode plates on several suspension beams can be positioned simultaneously.
