An image input device (5) includes: a housing (11) having a slender incidence window (11a) to pass image pickup light from a subject therethrough into the housing (11); a mirror body (12) which has mirror faces (12a) for reflecting the image pickup light from the incidence window (11a) and rotatably or swingably provided in the housing; a linear sensor (14) which is disposed in the housing (11) and takes the image pickup light reflected from the mirror body (12) to subject the image pickup light to photoelectric conversion; and a plurality of illuminators (51) which are provided in the housing (11) and successively turned on to light up to the subject. <IMAGE> |
