PURPOSE: An apparatus for feeding wire is provided to allow a pressure roller to apply uniform pressure on a feeding roller, for achieving exact feeding, and to eliminate possibility of detachment of an electrode, for a gap between the feeding roller and the pressure roller is not generated. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for feeding wire for use in welding device of carbon dioxide comprises a driving part in which a driving motor(131) having a reducer is mounted on an upright member, a driving gear(132) is mounted on an output rotational shaft(131a), and driven gears(133b) having a feeding roller(134b) on its coaxial shaft are engaged with each other on both sides of the driving gear(131); a pressure applying part in which a bracket(137c) for pivoting on a fixing shaft is provided on the upright member, one end of the bracket(137c) is elastically joined by the joining knob, an orbiting member for orbiting around a shaft of the center in the bracket(137c) is provided, a pressure applying roller(135b) having another driven gear(133d) engaged with the driven gear(133b) of the feeding roller(134b) is provided to the orbiting member; and a guide for guiding an electrode wire to the feeding roller(134b) of the driving part and the pressure applying roller(135b) of the pressure applying part, or for guiding the electrode wire drawn from these rollers.
