PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT OF AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE CONTAINING DENDRITIC CELL AND TREATING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a dendritic cell pretreated with interferon gamma and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier is provided which can be used in treatment of a variety of autoimmune diseases such as type 2 diabetes and rheumatic arthritis in humans. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition has a therapeutically effective amount of a dendritic cell pretreated with interferon gamma having an immunological effect on inhibiting destruction of tissue cells by autoimmune T cells and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The dendritic cell is a CD11b¬-/CD8α¬+ pretreated with interferon gamma of 50 to 200U/ml.
