PURPOSE: A call setup and information transmitting method for providing information to a wired and wireless communication subscriber is provided to easily transmit an advertisement or commerce information to an origination subscriber instead of a ring-back tone in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: An origination subscriber(9) dials a random additional number of an advertisement or a commerce information providing service previously designated by a communication service company and a telephone number of a termination subscriber(12)(S3). An origination switch(10) confirms whether the additional number corresponds to the advertisement or the commerce information additional service(S4,S5). If the additional number corresponds to the advertisement or the commerce information additional service, the origination switch(10) requests an advertisement or commerce information transmission to an information providing device(14)(S6). The information providing device(14) transmits the advertisement or commerce information to the origination subscriber(9) through the origination switch(10)(S7). The origination switch(10) and the information providing device(14) confirms a previously designated time(S8). The origination switch(10) routes a termination subscriber number to a termination switch(11) in a time end point(S9) and calls the termination subscriber(12). The termination switch(11) transmits a ring-back tone to the origination subscriber(9)(S11).
