PURPOSE: Provided is a nitrous food for maternity protection using extracts of pumpkin, jujube, brown seaweed, and honey syrup, its use as a functional beverage, and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: A functional beverage characteristically comprises at least two extracts of pumpkin, brown sea weed, and jujube. The extracts are used in a type of powder or concentrate. Particularly, the beverage comprises 0.5-15% of pumpkin extract, 0.1-1.0% of brown seaweed extract and 0.5-15% of jujube extract. It further comprises 0.1-1.0% of honey syrup.
