TENSION SHADOW MASK-FRAME ASSEMBLY OF CATHODE RAY TUBE FOR PREVENTING VIBRATION

PURPOSE: A tension shadow mask-frame assembly of a cathode ray tube for preventing vibration is provided to prevent effectively the vibration without causing deformation of a shadow mask or lowering of picture quality. CONSTITUTION: A frame(10) is formed with a couple of long side portions(11) and a couple of short side portions(12). The frame(10) is coupled with an inner wall of a panel. A shadow mask(50) has an apertured area(51) and a border(52). A plurality of electron beam passing holes is formed on the apertured area(51). The electron beam passing holes are not formed on the border(52). A plurality of insertion holes(53) is formed to the direction of the short side portion(12) of the border(52). A damper spring member(30) is formed with a coil portion(31) and an extension fixing portion(32). The coil portion(31) is arranged to the direction of the short side portion(12). The extension fixing portion(32) is extended from both ends of the coil portion(31). The extension fixing portion(32) is fixed to the short side portion(12).
