Safety system to prevent photocopying of documents, which consists in applying a plastic reflective film to the surface of a document, converting it into an uncopiable document, by providing a mechanism which includes a roll of self-adhesive, reflective film (1), whose protective strips are enclosed in a storage cylinder (2), a document feeder wheel (3), a document input tray (4), a sensor (5) a drive belt (6), a pressure wheel (7) and a cutting knife (8). After the document it is desired to protect has been inserted into the input tray (4), it is moved by the feeder wheel (3) onto the carrier belt (6) until the reflecting film is applied by the pressure wheel (7), while the knife (8) cuts the said film after application to the document. The said mechanism being controlled by the sensor (5), correct synchronisation of the mechanism being obtained so that a document coated with reflective plastic (9) is obtained so as to prevent it from being photocopied.<IMAGE> |
