<p>Process to recover organic materials from a mixt., in which the materials are fed in a supercritical gas or a liquid as a carrier, and passed with this through a chromatography column. The eluate is then expanded to a pressure and heated to a temp. at which the carrier is gaseous and the substances liquid or solid so they can be separated in different partitions into various fractions. The eluate to be expanded passes in a small cross section stretched stream, common to all fractions, the substances being separated out successively during the passage of this stream. The stream is only separated into the various fractions afterwards. Also claimed is a device to carry out the above process, in which the supercritical gas containing the components to be separated is fed to a chromatography column (5) after a pipe coil (10) via a throttle valve (9), with a separator (12) before the coil.</p> |
