The switch contact (5) is arranged on a slider (7) which is bistably movable between two positions by means of an actuator (6) by manually exerting a sliding force. In the first position, the contact is distanced from a fixed contact (4), and in the other position it lies on the fixed contact. An elastic device (8) such as a spring, cooperates with the slider, so that the slider switches with a snap movement between the two positions.
