PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new master rope stretching device capable of solving such a fact that tightening work of the conventional master rope is troublesome and that there is a fault lacking safety in the conventional master rope stretching device. SOLUTION: The new master rope stretching device is constituted of a belt having a hook on one end and a connecting device connected to the other end of the belt, the connecting device is formed of a base capable of being hooked, a slider connected to the base in a movable manner, a belt penetrable hole formed in the slider and a lever capable of opening and closing the upper surface of the slider pivoting the basic end on the base in a rotatable manner, the free end of the lever is hooked on the slider in a releasable manner, and when the lever is pivoted, the slider is relatively pushed out to the base, and the belt inserted in the belt penetrable hole of the slider is tightened.
