PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric having excellent moisture-absorbing/releasing performance, moisture retention and skin-care effect and excellent in durability of these properties, and to provide a method for easily producing the fabric at a low cost. SOLUTION: This rice fermented extract-immobilized fabric is obtained by fixing, on a fabric, a polymer of (a) a rice fermented extract, (b) a specific bifunctional compound, (c) a compound containing hydroxy group, carboxy group, amino group, sulfonic group or phosphate group and (d) a compound containing aziridine group. The other objective method for producing the fabric comprises applying an aqueous treating solution containing the above mentioned components and polymerizing the each component on the fabric.
