A valve for controlling liquid, especially liquid fuel, has a piezo-actuator (2), a hydraulic converter (3) for converting the stroke (lift) of the piezo-actuator, a bridge element (7) an injection device (25) for injection of the liquid and three control valves (8,13,17) each designed as a 2/2 valve and are actuated by the bridge element (7). The first and second control valves (8,13) are actuated at the same time while the third valve (17) is only actuated after the first and second valves have been actuated.
