PURPOSE: A device and a method for removing moisture are provided to promptly remove the moisture on the glass by accurately and easily sensing the generation of moisture in the early stage. CONSTITUTION: A surface resistance detecting unit(50) displays a resistance value varied depending on the moisture on the surface of a nonconductor. A static electricity sensing unit(60) prevents the generation of static electricity by using the signal from the surface resistance detecting unit. A moisture sensing unit(70) decides the existence of moisture based on the change of the amount of the current in relation with the resistance value of the surface resistance detecting unit and outputs a corresponding signal. A drive unit(80) removes the moisture on the surface of the nonconductor by moving with respect to the signal outputted from the moisture sensing unit.
