PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle apparatus for an engine, in which the number of part items is decreased to lower manufacturing cost, and the apparatus is downsized to secure a mounting space. SOLUTION: An intake passage 11a and an EGR gas passage 11b are integrally formed with a throttle body 11, a throttle valve 13 and an EGR control valve 14 are coaxially arranged to a throttle shaft 12 to be driven by a motor 40. Part of exhaust gas of the engine is re-circulated in the intake passage 11a to lower a combustion temperature. An exhaust gas re-circulation apparatus for reducing NOx in exhaust gas is integrated with the throttle apparatus 10, so that a whole apparatus is downsized to easily secure the mounting space. Since the throttle valve 13 and EGR control valve 14 are commonly use the driver 40 as an actuator for driving them and the throttle shaft 12, the number of the parts are decreased to lower the manufacturing cost. |
