PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the operation control of a compressor by a thermostat that does not have the same number of contacts as refrigerating cycles in an air conditioning device having a plurality of independent refrigerating cycles. SOLUTION: In an air conditioning device having a plurality of independent refrigerating cycles that are formed by connecting a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger through refrigerant piping, provided with a suction thermistor detecting the temperature of the air at the suction opening of the indoor unit for controlling these refrigerating cycles, and furthermore permitting the connection of the thermostat, the suction thermistor and the thermostat are used together to control the operation/stop of the compressor.
