PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary nut caving no deformation in an end part of a female screw in a process of polishing or plating a screw hole provided in a nut of the rotary nut and needing no particular consideration in forming the female screw. SOLUTION: In the rotary nut 1 with the nut 5 rotatably and slidably attached between opposing arms 8 of a frame body 9, the screw hole 2 is provided passing through a substantially center of a one face in a longitudinal direction of the nut 5 toward a back face side, a ridge like protrusion part 14 with a top part extending in the longitudinal direction is integrally provided in the back face side, an opening 21 is provided concentrically with the screw hole 2 in a position where an end part of the screw hole 2 opens in the protrusion part 14, and an inner diameter of the opening 21 is formed substantially the same or larger than a root diameter of the female screw of the screw hole 2.
