PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can discriminate whether or not received data are to be transferred. SOLUTION: A transmitter sets information denoting a control program for update to an NSS signal and transmits the NSS signal to a receiver in the case of transmitting the control program for update. Thus, the receiver can discriminate contents of received data on the basis of the NSS signal (S5). As a result, when the received data are the control program for update, even when a transfer function indicates 'ON' and the data correspond to a transfer condition, the receiver does not transfer the received data, that is, the control program for update to a transfer destination. When the received data are usual received data, on the other hand, the receiver can transfer the received data to a preset transfer destination (S8) on the basis of the setting of 'ON' or 'OFF' of the transfer function and whether or not the data correspond to the transfer condition (S7). Thus, the receiver can transfer the received data or transfer no received data depending on the contents of the received data.
