<p>The present invention is related to a method for determining fast the integer number causing an integer ambiguity in obtaining the three-dimensional attitude of a vehicle by using a GPS attitude determination system. In particular, the present invention provides a method for reducing the number of independent integer numbers to be searched by using known lengths of at least two baseline vectors, each baseline vector being defined by two selected antennas, and an angle between two baseline vectors in determining the integer number included in measured values of carrier wave phase of GPS signals. The number of the independent integer number to be searched can be reduced by at least one, and thus time required for resolving the integer ambiguity and for determining the attitude of the vehicle can be reduced, calculation volume and the required memory of the calculator also can be reduced.</p> |
