PURPOSE: A communication module and a communication apparatus having the same are provided position an IC card antenna when installing IC card functions to mobile terminals. CONSTITUTION: An IC chip(12) communicates with an external communication object. A non-contact IC card antenna(14) transmits and receives communication electromagnetic waves corresponding to contents of a communication from the IC chip(12). An antenna connection circuit(16) connects the IC chip(12) with the non-contact IC card antenna(14). The IC chip(12), the non-contact IC card antenna(14), and the antenna connection circuit(16) are provided on a mount board(18). A shield member shields the electromagnetic waves. The shield member is positioned to face the mount board(18). A connector(19) connects a communication module with another apparatus.
