PURPOSE: A ceramic barrel having a digital pollutant measuring sensor is provided to measure, and sense a pollutant such as a poisonous substance or bacteria, etc. by an electric IC chip, or an electronic sensor. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic barrel(1) comprises a pollutant measuring sensor(2), a battery box(4), an IC circuit(5), and a display(3). The pollutant measuring sensor(2) is attached at an inside of the ceramic barrel in which a foodstuff is contained, and senses and measures a pollutant such as a poisonous substance or bacteria, etc. by a measuring instrument(2'). The battery box(4) and the IC circuit(5) are mounted at an outside of the ceramic barrel, and the displays(3) for displaying a measure value of the pollutant using a numeric, character, or color are mounted at an outside of a case.
