PURPOSE: A mold pressing apparatus of a vulcanizer is provided to prevent an excitation of a completed tire in a mold by combining a hydraulic cylinder and a machinery cam. CONSTITUTION: A mold pressing apparatus of a vulcanizer comprises a mold(2) installed at a lower portion of a vulcanizer body(1), a pressing member(3) for pressing the mold, a supporting portion(4) supporting the pressing member and installed at a top side of the body, a pressured spring(5) installed between the pressing member and the supporting portion, a cam(6) supported at the supporting portion in an eccentric shaft, and a hydraulic cylinder(7). One end of the cylinder is connected to one end of the cam, and the other end thereof is hinged at a side of the body. The cam rotates if the cylinder is moved in forward, and the rotation movement is changed into a linear movement of the pressing member, and the mold is pressed by the linear movement of the pressure member.
