SEED PRODUCING METHOD OF GRATELOUPIA ACUMINATA USING TISSUE CULTURE

PURPOSE: A seed producing method of grateloupia acuminata using tissue culture is provided to achieve a mass production thereof. CONSTITUTION: The seed producing method of grateloupia acuminata using tissue culture comprises the steps of; cutting collected tetrasporophyte into tissue having a size of 4mm to 6mm; obtaining regenerated thalli through the stock culture of the tissue; producing tetraspore from the regenerated thalli through aeration culture; forming crust from the tetraspore; utilizing grown individuals having a size of 7mm to 12mm produced from the crust as seeds of sea cultivating industry.
