Adenine derivatives represented by the following general formula (I) wherein X represents NR3 (wherein R3 represents hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl), etc.; R1 represents optionally substituted alkyl, etc.; R2 represents hydroxy, etc.; and Y represents an optionally substituted aromatic heterocycle, etc.; tautomers thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and drugs su ch as interferon inducing agents, antiviral agents, anticancer agents, type 2 helper T cell-selective immune response inhibitors, antiallergic agents and immune response controlling agents containing the same as the active ingredient.
