PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional digital broadcast receiver being capable of detecting the receiving level of only a single channel which it is receiving at present time, and a user being unable to detect the receiving level of a certain channel, until he actually selects the channel. SOLUTION: A plurality of tuners for receiving digital broadcasts are provided, the other tuners search other stations, while one of the tuners is receiving a station, the receiving states of the stations are stored as a search result, and the receiving states of the stations are displayed in a table form on a display screen.
