PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart excellent bending workability to a porous titanium powder sintered compact consisting of titanium powder, and used for a filter, a dispersion board or the like. SOLUTION: Spherical gas atomizing titanium powder 11 is sintered to form a sheetlike porous body. The sheet thickness T of the porous body is controlled to <=500μm. The average grain size of the spherical gas atomizing titanium powder 11 is controlled to <=150μm. As the porosity of the porous body, 35 to 55% can be obtained. The porous body is subjected to bending, so that a cylindrical filter can be formed.
