PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detaching the oven frame of a coke oven which can safely and easily replace the oven frame in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The oven cover of a coke oven is detached, and then an oven frame fixture 1 to hold oven cover engaging hooks 2 of the oven frame 3 of the coke oven from the upper and lower sides is mounted on the oven cover engaging hooks 2, and the oven frame 3 of the coke oven is detached together with the oven frame fixture 1 by using a lifter 4.
