PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate greening of a roof floor and bring about a proper function of vegetation greening. SOLUTION: In a vegetation mat (body) 4 affixed onto a base surface body 1 from a nursery field in the greening of the roof floor, a solid piece on a block of a prescribed size is mounted integrally in such a manner as to be at least partially buried inside the body 4, so as to allow a function for a prescribed purpose of the vegetation mat 4 to be always stably maintained and so as to create a vegetation environment appropriate for growth of the vegetation greening 6. Though being substantially lightweight and bulky, the vegetation mat 4 fulfills a holding function by evenly deconcentrating overall weight even in case of elimination of a separate holding body, in order to prevent scattering of the piece 5, prevent the vegetation mat 4 from curling up and scattering, prevent an outflow of soil mixed into the vegetation mat 4, block transpiration of moisture, and prevent a root zone of the vegetation mat 4 from being damaged by ultraviolet rays included in direct sunlight.
