A method for broadcasting optical information from a number to a number of fiber-optic channels and a modular electro-optic-switching system that uses the method is disclosed. The method for fiber-optic-broadcasting, to broadcast optic information from at least one fiber-optic channel to at least one fiber-optic channel, comprises the following steps: (a) multiplying, each of the input channel information, to a row of fiber-optic matrix, or to a row of a holographic lens that designed as a matrix of optical-channels, using an one-to-all lens; (b) collecting, from the back of the matrix, or from the back of the holographic lens, the information of each column to a single optical fiber, using an all-to-one lens. |
