<p>The invention relates to novel 5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yloxyacetanilides of general formula (I) wherein: n represents 0, 1, 2 or 3,R represents straightchained or branched alkyl with 4 carbon atoms, and X stands for nitro, cyano, halogen or respectively and optionally stands for cyano, halogen or C1C4alkoxy substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl with respectively 1 4 carbon atoms, with the exception of the following compounds: Nmethyl5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yloxyacetanilide, Nethyl5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yloxyacetanilide, 4chloroNmethyl(5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yl)oxyacetanilide and 3trifluoromethylNmethyl(5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yl)oxyacetanilide, Nipropyl5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yloxyacetanilide, in addition to 4fluoroNmethyl(5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yl)oxyacetanilide and 4fluoroNethyl(5chlorodifluoromethyl1,3, 4thiadiazol2yl)oxyacetanilide .
