PURPOSE: A wooden piece for a wooden mat and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the aesthetic value of the mat as well as endow with cool and comfortable feeling by attaching Korean paper having a certain pattern to the mat. CONSTITUTION: The wooden piece for a wooden mat comprises a wooden piece body(201) of rectangular plate shape; a Korean paper layer(202) to be attached to the top surface of the wooden piece body; a first UV coating layer(203) of a certain thickness, which is formed by applying an UV coating agent at several times; and a second UV coating layer(204) of the certain thickness, which is formed by applying the UV coating agent at several times.
