<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the possibility of connecting to the closest base station even if a mobile body radio terminal apparatus that performs CDMA communication is located at a weak electric field region. SOLUTION: Each of pilot signals transmitted from each of a plurality of base stations ST1-ST3 is received, the reception power of each signal is obtained, and the maximum reception power level is obtained. When the maximum reception power level does not reach the minimum reception limit level (threshold) because of judgment by a reception power level judgment circuit 80, processing for adding the power level of other reception signals is made. Conversely, when the level of a synthesis signal exceeds the threshold, it is regarded that the maximum reception power of the reception signal has exceeded the threshold, and cell search processing such as synchronization acquisition to the closest base station and position registration is allowed to continue.</p> |
