<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely controlling the power source OFF of a computer system 11 even when firmware in a management controller 21 having a power source control function runs away, or the management controller 21 itself breaks down. SOLUTION: An I<2> C controller 27 is incorporated in a power source control platter 26, and the power source OFF of a computer system 11 is monitored by an SVP board 19, and when the abnormality of a management controller 21 is detected, a power source OFF instruction is issued to the I<2> C controller 27 incorporated in the power source control platter so that the power source OFF control of the computer system 11 can be executed.</p> |
