PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a half-fit preventing connector wherein a protrusion length outward a housing of a fit detecting member at a time of the half-fitting can be set longer and detection of the half-fitting state is facilitated. SOLUTION: A lock arm 31 has a leg part 31b successively installed at the middle of a lock part 34 loaded to the tip side and the rear end and at a housing main body 35 of a male connector housing 33, and is installed freely swinging around the leg part 31b as a fulcrum, and the fitting detecting member 51 is pushed down by a detecting member control part 61 set on the rear end of the lock arm 31 when the lock arm 31 is swinging, thereby it is loaded to the male connector housing 33 while the tip side is swung and displaced outward the housing main body 35 in a lever state.
