<p>An equipment for measuring the stringiness of a liquid material using a quantity of sample as small as possible in which digital measurement can be carried out automatically while eliminating individual difference of measurements. The equipment for measuring the stringiness of a liquid material is characterized by comprising a sample receiving pan made of a conductive material and containing a liquid material to be measured, an elevating/lowering stringing rod made of a conductive material and functioning to detect the stringing length of the liquid material when the lower end of the liquid material in the sample receiving pan touches the rod and ascends, means for elevating/lowering the stringing rod, a motor for elevating/lowering the stringing rod, a drive circuit for the motor, a circuit for operating the motor drive circuit, and a sample/stringing rod contact decision circuit for detecting electrical coupling state of the sample receiving pan and the stringing rod through the liquid material and operating the motor drive circuit based on the detection results.</p> |
