PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a chaff acetic acid liquid is provided to reduce a size thereof, and to achieve a mass production of the chaff acetic acid liquid that an amount of tar or other harmful components is low. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a chaff acetic acid liquid comprises a double cylindrical vessel consisting of an outer carbonization burning vessel(1) and an inner carbonization burning vessel(2) spaced apart from each other in order to prevent a worker from being burned. The inner vessel being narrowed toward the bottom thereof and charged with chaff(9). An ignition port(4) is provided at the bottom side of the outer vessel, and a funnel(3) formed with air holes for securing the continuous and uniform passage of air is mounted inside the inner vessel. The upper part of the funnel communicates with a pipe(6) to collect smoke generated during the burning of the chaff. The collected smoke is guided to a cooling vessel(10) through an expansion part and a filter(8) installed at the middle portion of the pipe in order to remove ash and tar. Finally, the chaff acetic acid liquid is produced by circulating and spraying a cooling water(11) within the sealed cooling vessel to cool the smoke.
