PURPOSE: A load handling trolley is provided to normally run in a channel led track. CONSTITUTION: A load handling trolley(10) is composed of an elongate load engager(12) ascending and descending to at least one bogie assembly via a lamp(40) and a roller device(34) when the engager and the bogie assembly longitudinally move relative to each other and a positive retention device(50) between the engager and the bogie assembly including an anchor member(60) fixed to the load engager and at least one other inextendable and relatively movable member(54) mounted for the pivotal movement to the anchor member. The relatively movable member has slots receiving an axle or some other cross-connection of the roller device to move during the relative movement of the engager and the bogie assembly and an abutment means(64) working with the load engager to limit the articulation of the relatively movable member. The slots have two offset interconnected parts.
