PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renewal design supporting method and system capable of easily verifying a renewal control program. SOLUTION: In a production factory 10, facility controllers 12 and 13 which receive an instruction from a facility management server 14 controls the operation of a robot 11 to be controlled so that a plurality of actual facilities can be cooperated. A virtual facility 20 is connected through an Internet 30 to the production factory. An improved control object 22c is integrated into a carriage facility controller 22 of the virtual facility, and a carriage robot operation simulator part 21 being an object to be controlled is arranged in the virtual facility. The control object 22c controls the simulator part 21 corresponding to the actual facility to be controlled according to an instruction received from the facility management server 14 in a state in which the production factory is operated. Thus, the verification of the control object 22c can be performed. After the verification, the control object 22c is downloaded to the controller 12 of the production factory.
