PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a sheathing film good in workability in sticking itself on a substrate irrespectively of ambient temperature such as atmospheric temperature. SOLUTION: This sheathing film is obtained by using as the raw material a compound of a polyvinyl chloride resin and a graft resin where polyvinyl chloride is grafted to an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer. The sheathing film thus obtained is characterized by being 3-36 MPa in 3% modulus, 20% modulus and yield strength at an ambient temperature of 5-40 deg.C respectively, and >=100% in elongation at break at an ambient temperature of 5-40 deg.C.
