The arrangement for detecting the tractive position in a coupling in an engine-driven vehicle is for a vehicle with an engine (1), a drive train (3-10) with a first part (3) with an extent from the engine to the coupling (4) and a second part (5-10) incorporating a gearbox (6), together with a further extent from the coupling to the drive wheels (2). A torque indicator (11) monitors a torque value in a component (5) in the second part of the drive train and a control unit (12) receives data from the monitored torque values, detecting the coupling tractive position when the first torque value is received, which indicates a power transmission from the engine to the wheels after uncoupling. |
