PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recorder that can avoid missing of data lines so as to attain more excellent print recording. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recorder with a plotter section 2 having a thermal head and a temperature detection means for the thermal head and with a memory section 4 storing image data is characterized in that the thermosensitive recorder is provided with a control means that allows the temperature detection means to measure the temperature of the thermal head prior to reception and receives data at a decreased communication MODEM rate corresponding to the temperature when the measured temperature is close to a specified temperature.
