PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a throttle valve 4 to a fully closed position without disparsion in flow rate, and to largely reduce the assembling man-hour of the throttle valve 4. SOLUTION: A shape of a plane of the throttle valve 4 is circular, a position orthogonal to an air flow direction is set as the fully closed position, and an end face of its outer diameter is in a spherical shape R. In the case, a setting position of the throttle valve 4 should be within a range of±A deg. of a regular fully-closed position. Even if a positioning means (of which fine adjustment is impossible) with a lever and a stopper pin is used, the throttle valve 4 is properly set within the range of±A deg. of the regular fully-opened position. Since the need for the fine adjustment by a screw or the like is eliminated, the man- hour required for assembly adjustment of the throttle valve 4 is reduced. Further, since a fixed clearance C between the throttle valve and a throttle body is kept, the disparsion in flow rate at the fully closed position is eliminated.
