PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method capable of readily inspecting a breaking of circuit of a flexible substrate used in liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A test signal is inputted to a liquid crystal cell 30 through an FPC 34 connected to the liquid crystal cell 30 of the liquid crystal display device 28 to bring the cell 30 into a burning condition, the tip of a diaphragm 20 fixed to a motor 12 having an eccentric shaft 18 is brought into contact with the FPC 34 to vibrate the diaphragm 20 by rotating the motor 12, and then the burning condition of the liquid crystal cell 30 is inspected.
